  • Based on the success of the middle school after-school program Domus operates for the Stamford Public Schools at TOR Middle Schools, we were asked to operate a second after-school program at KT Murphy Elementary School. That grant was approved, and we will start operations in fall 2013. A Stamford Advocatearticle about the grant award is here.
  • This WSHU Public Radio story about poverty and high school graduation rates features our family advocate model and Stamford Academy Class of 2013 graduate Monae, who graduated high school in seven years instead of four but persisted despite the many roadblocks in her way. The story is part of their State of Disparityproject.
  • Produce from Kellie’s Community Garden at Domus, tended by the youth in the Trafigura Work & Learn youth employment program, was featured in this summer’s Stamford Restaurant Weeks: Watch a video clip about the local food we provided.
