There are many ways you can support the work we do. We try to maximize every dollar we get. This means we furnish the transitional living apartments with donated furniture, utilize volunteers to help us teach youth life skills and keep our programs looking wonderful, and spend quality time building relationships with our  kids. We are constantly looking for new supporters who, like us, feel passionately that every young person deserves the chance to succeed. Click here to learn how you can help!
ORGANIZE A SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE!
You can help us meet the needs of hundreds of kids now and throughout the school year by organizing a school supply drive in your neighborhood, company, or church. We need every school supply you can think of: pencils, markers, loose-leaf paper, notebooks, highlighters, calculators...you name it, we need it! For more details, contact Garland Walton at 203.324.4277 x23 or gwalton@domuskids.org.

You're never too old or too young to help! Many thanks to Greenwich's Riverside Elementary's 5th graders for holding a supply drive so our kids have plenty of supplies for a great summer. Above: John, Gunnar, Jack, and George with all the loot collected by the hard-working 5th grade class. Thanks!
We’re proud that two young men who live with us at Domus House and Passages will be going to college next month! Congratulations to Shaquan Armour (L) and Julian Perez (R) who are going to Benedict College and Post University. If you can help them with things they need for dorm life, please let us know. You can donate online and note that your gift is for college supplies or drop donated items at either house (225 Washington Blvd. or 102 Clinton Avenue). Thanks for helping us reduce their stress as they move into the next phase of life! Shaquan and Julian are pictured with Chief Residential Services Officer Tom Langan and Educational Advocate Gloria Mauro.

Domus is entering the world of neighborhood theatre and is looking for actors and musicians!
Now that we have our own professional auditorium and stage with full lighting and audio equipment, we’re set to perform in January 2010 the musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. We’re not picky about your level of singing, dancing, acting, or playing—let’s just have some fun!

ACTORS: The open parts open are Chip and Coneybear; we’re looking for two male actors aged 16 and up to play quirky kids at a spelling bee—you’ll be singing and dancing. For more information about them, please Google the show and obtain character info there. You should be able to rehearse 5pm to 7pm Tuesday/Wednesday.

MUSICIANS: We are looking for an experienced pianist, cello player, and reed (clarinet, flute, sax) musicians. Since we have no budget yet, we are looking for volunteers. Your level of commitment would be limited until the end of the rehearsal process. Ideally, the pianist would attend some rehearsals on Tuesdays/Wednesday nights.
Please email Joe if you’re interested. Thanks!
